Parameters of free radical oxidation and antioxidant defense in patients with cervical cancer before and after radical surgical treatment

Purpose of the study. To analyse free radical oxidation and antioxidant defense in patients diagnosed with early cervical cancer (CC) before after surgical treatment. Patients methods. Levels diene conjugates, malondialdehyde (MDA), superoxide dismutase (SOD), catalase, glutathione, glutathione- dependent enzymes, vitamins A E were determined 74 women under age 45 (48 those who at stage treatment a diagnosis CC National Medical Research Center Oncology period 2017–2020 26 healthy women). Results. showed significant changes intensity lipid peroxidation processes defense: elevate levels MDA initial decline activity SOD low E. These results complete understanding occurring body an oncological patient tumor formation, which does not yet have obvious clinical manifestation.
